Privacy and Security Concerns Raised as Europe Tightens Regulation of Adult Platforms

The European Commission has launched an investigation into adult platforms such as Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX, and XVideos, alleging that their failure to effectively implement age verification and content vetting measures may be in violation of the Digital Services Act. If found in violation, the platforms could face fines of up to 6% of their annual global revenue.
